Pack Rides: Meet The Pack!

Our little pack got started about two years ago, and consisted solely of Torres and me. We work together at the Double L (yes, that's 'code speak' for a funeral service establishment in our area.)

We started out walking on the Trinity Trails for workouts and then moved to inline skating (which I've loved to do for years), and from the skating we moved to cycling. I used to log a lot of miles nearly every week when I lived in Virginia, where my sister and I got started with off-road riding. I was so happy when Torres took an interest in both the blades and the bikes.

Since then, we've had new additions to our little pack, and it seems to be ever growing. Peeps don't have to live in our area for us to consider them a part of our group. We'll happily associate them with us when they let us know they'd like to be included, even if it's long-distance and they're only riding in their area.

Of course, if they come to DFW, they have an open invitation to ride with us any time they want.

For now, I post photos that are sent to me from riders here and there. It's my way of encouraging them to stay excited and keep their momentum going. I love it when folks are encouraged to get out and do something fun and challenging.
